I use my work as a mirror of the journey of my life, both the triumphs and the challenges. My photographs are a visual diary, although, not to the naked eye.
The obvious link to me in my work is the location, but would only be evident to those who are familiar with my past.
The models are used as a placeholder to symbolize the sense of female power and beauty evoked through fashion photography but also as a way to reflect on how I see myself in a specific period of time. It is not the fashion or the models that drive me to create, but the individual bond I have with the stories themselves.
By merging these two worlds of fashion and my life, I am creating editorials but also building a very personal visual diary.
Every aspect of my work is a subtle reflection of me as a person, not just an artist. The poses, the moods, the light. All of it.

Believe it or not, this was my first time shooting (let alone visiting) Bethesda Fountain in Central Park! It took my breath away. Bethesda Fountain complemented Alina Kim’s Collection beautifully and made for the perfect backdrop. Enjoy!
